This blog chronicles the progress, or lack thereof, of an amateur photographer. I started shooting about 3 years ago, but only began taking it seriously about a year ago. I got into photography for how it enables me to see the world. I never feel in greater spiritual alignment than when I am walking the streets looking for beauty. It allows me to see things I would never see. Photography is one of the few things in life where I truly enjoy the journey more than the destination. If I go out for hours and fail to capture a single worthwhile image that’s fine with me.
I began this blog with a few aims:
- 1. Gain more exposure–any artist wants an audience.
- 2. Give a place to view all my photos in larger formats.
- 3. Receive receive constructive criticism and differing perspectives on what is good, bad and ugly about my work. As long as you are remotely kind you can say whatever you’d like. I can take it.
